Falassarna
La spiaggia di Falassarna è considerata una tra le più belle e naturali spiagge di Creta e una delle dieci migliori spiagge in Grecia. La strada che scende dalla collina e porta alla spiaggia di Falassarna offre una bellissima vista ai visitatori.
È una spiaggia lunga e grande con una vista affascinante al tramonto; un posto ideale per rilassarsi e distendersi. Il mare è sempre molto chiaro e vi tenta a nuotare. Vi è spazio per gli sport acquatici e beach-tennis; vi è anche un campo di volley.
Vi è un caffè all'inizio della spiaggia, nonché ombrelloni e sdraio in vari posti. Nel villaggio, il caffè Galasia Thea è il luogo ideale per il caffè e piatti caserecci. Anche la taverna Sun Set è un ottimo posto per il pesce e cucina cretese.
I resti dell'antico porto della città di Falassarna può essere esplorato durante un'escursione a nord della spiaggia. Gli scavi hanno esposto alcune mura ed edifici della città. Non vi sono più segni del porto ora.
