Almirida
Almirída heeft nog steeds de atmosfeer van een vissersdorpje. Rustig, zelfs in de drukke maanden. Almirída heeft twee zandstranden die bekroond zijn met de Blauwe Vlag, een klein strand in het westen en een lang, in een bocht gelegen strand naar het oosten. Beide hebben ligbedden en parasols te huur – de oostkant is in het bijzonder veilig voor jonge kinderen.
Het dorpje heeft vele tavernes aan het strand die zowel bij de lokale bevolking als bij bezoekers populair zijn. Er is een minimarkt winkel, enkele gezellige bars en souvenirwinkels.
Voor de meer energieken is het mogelijk om over de heuvel of rond het strand naar het nabijgelegen Kalives (3 km) te wandelen. Andere nabijgelegen dorpjes zijn Gavalochori (4 km) en Plaka (1 km), hoewel de meeste mensen helemaal lijken te ontspannen in de rust van dit betoverende Apokoronas dorpje.
