Provarma
Provarma is a small quiet village 6 km from the waterfront village of Kalives (with great sandy beach) and 1 km from Stilos (another traditional village with three tavernas and shops to buy groceries).
Provarma is the ideal village to relax with your friends/family while living in the nature and to make excursions in the nearby villages of the Apokoronas district (Samonas, Machairoi, Megala Chorafia, Vamos) exploring the traditional Crete; you can see wild flowers unique in Crete or walk in many small gorges in the Apokoronas district. From here you can also explore the rest of Crete since the distances are quite small; Provarma is 5 km from the National Road, about 25 from Chania and 45 km from Rethymno.
