Dear Golden Key Villa team we would like to say especially thank you to the owners of the villa. We enjoyed their beautiful mansion and the spectacular view from the villa and the pool. Of course we strongly recommend other families who have celebrations or just want to be together to rent the apartment/s.
We were all together 25 people from the age of 15 - 85, several generations and from several countries staying in the house from 2.7-11.7.2022. The apartment/s were clean and had enough rooms and bathrooms for all of us. Each apartment had its own kitchen, salon and balcony. There were enough rooms so people could have their own space and still enjoy the common areas inside and outside.
Every time we had the smallest problem the family and the Golden key team immediately answered and tried to solve the problems. Even at Sundays and crazy hours of the evening and night. I know we were not the easiest guest as we had so many hurdles during our stay that was not connected to the villa: fly strikes , cancellations of flights ordering taxies again and again , all kind of questions etc. But we always got an answer within minutes...what a great service.
A special thanks to Emmanuel Solidakis whom I have been in contact with since spring 2021. He always gave me a quick answer and helped me with arranging all the practical things like finding a great car rental agency ( Horafakia car rental) etc.
All this made our 60 and 75 years birthdays and our "surprise" wedding an unforgettable experience not only for our families but also for the two of us.

The villa was just great. We all had fun and enjoyed it. Million dollar view $$$$
Awesome location, the owners gave us a lot of wine and very tasty melons. Rooms were clean.
Would definitely come back again.
Be prepared to buy trash bags, the owners don't provide it.
Yannis was nice and helped out with rebooking as we had the reservation pre pandemic. But, keep in mind, Yannis will not return the money back even when a global pandemic happened and all the borders were closed. They only offered a voucher for 18 month with amount that we prepaid.

This is the second time we ordered our holiday through thehotel.gr. We had a great week with all the family in the Golden Key Villas.
The hospitality of The owners was wonderful. The location of the villas was very good and the view was amazing.

Villa Golden Key is beautiful and spacious and the view is absolutely amazing.

We got excellent service from TheHotel.gr. A special thank you for the chefs that you organised to come cook for us; the dinner was one of the highlights during our week. We really enjoyed our holiday and can recommend both the villa and TheHotel.gr.

We are a whole family grand/daughters-son/grandchildren total of 17, stayed for 6 days in Golden Key magnificent Villa which is located on a place with breath taking view of Chania the sea and the mountain beyond, we enjoyed as grandmother and grandfathers very much the togetherness of our whole family and the beautiful house, the inviting swimming pool, great for the children, and the perfect location. In addition to the worm and hearty hospitality of Emmanuel & Yannis. There are supermarkets nearby and many good restaurants in the area. All in all, we had great time and will definitely recommend this kind of experience to our friends to stay at this beautiful place.

Nous étions un groupe de 21 adultes et 4 bébés. Seul thé hôtel.gr a pu nous proposer une villa appropriée à ce nombre à la location. Leur service est excellent et notre villa était magnifique avec une vue incroyable.
Je recommande vivement ce site, bien supérieur à Airbnb et booking.com. Nous avons tous été enchantés par notre séjour.

Golden Key Villa was absolutely perfect for our party of 19 adults. The pool area and the view are breathtakingly beautiful! All the apartments were in good condition and clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the cleaning was done well. We also booked a chef to come to the villa which was perfect and very professional - can highly recommend this! It was also easy to order take away food straight to the villa by a menu that the owners provided. This villa is perfect get away for a big group who are looking for a place to relax in peace and enjoy each others company. Since the villa is up on the hill it is not very close to any shops or restaurants, you need a ride to get to places. Rental cars would be perfect but we used taxis which worked quite good as well. BUT you must order taxis before hand so that they will arrive on time - otherwise you might have to wait for a taxi for a quite a long time. Our experience with TheHotel.gr was perfect! They were very very helpful before our trip: they answered all our questions and booked us a chef for example. Also, when we arrived to the villa, there was a complementary gift bag from the company full of among others olive oil, bread and wine and in the fridge there were watermelon and cold cuts for the bread. That was very very nice. Thank you so much!

This property was absolutely perfect. I was able to hold my vow renewal ceremony there. We had 18 people stay and there was more than enough room. We could have easily fit way more comfortably. During the renting process I asked so many questions and everything was answered and coordinated, including vehicles etc. There was fresh fruit and water at the property. The lawn was manicured and the pool was great especially for the kids. There was a BBQ area which we used multiple times and the location was very close to chania. The view was absolutely stunning. I visited Santorini the next week and the views were not as good. The best part was the staff and family. Everyone was helpful and friendly and treated us as if we were part of the family. It was truly a dream trip.
