We had a view of the mountains and the sea from our balcony, and enjoyed the flexibility of being able to self cater or stroll down to their taverna in the evening. There are restaurants within walking distance and a taverna on site- however if you want to explore further I would recommend having a car. Everyone who works here is lovely and accommodating. The location, beach, pool, and restaurant were phenomenal. The location and view were absolutely breath-taking! We were traveling with our two year old toddler and found it a perfect place to stay. There was plenty to keep him and us entertained, and yet it was still calm and quiet, and provided us a sense of relaxation and independence. The staff graciously provided us an upgrade from our reserved room, and it was just heavenly and much appreciated! We hope to return one day soon!
Blue Beach did charge an extra 8 euros a day for AC; however, I will say that it was the best and most efficient AC of any resort that we stayed at in Crete, so well worth the extra charge. The comfort and cleanliness were sufficient and it is far from uncomfortable or unclean; however, in comparison to other places where we have stayed in Crete, I could not give Blue Beach a 10. The staff with Hotel.gr went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant vacation for us - from start to finish. They were timely in responding to all my questions, and even checked in with us during our stay to ensure that all was going well. When we come back to Greece, I will surely use TheHotel.gr again.

Le Blue Beach Hôtel est un endroit convivial, familial et accueillant pour passer un très agréable séjour en Crete. Le personnel est très attentionné, l'accueil qu'il nous a réservé était des plus agréable. La nourriture est délicieuse, locale et cuisinée chaque jour. De plus les prix sont très abordables ! En conclusion, ce séjour à été fantastique et nous vous recommandons cet endroit si vous voulez passer des vacances tranquilles au bord de la mer ou de la piscine!

Very close to the sea not too far away from Chania (20min by car). Quiet place.
Big terrace with sea view and stunning scenery on some apartments.
heavy duty mosquito mesh-guards provided on all windows and French-windows - this was much appreciated for peaceful nights, while sleeping with windows wide open hearing at the sound of the sea waves. no shopping around / pretty remote from everything
car needed We enjoyed every single moment - perfect for families - the staff is very friendly and helpful
the breakfast comes as an extra (8 E/person) ideally located by the outdoor pool and only a few yards away from the sea - what a treat!
perfect place for a great holiday.

Location, sunset and sunrise are wonderful! Good for families and nice places to visit in the nearby. A bit far from Chania, very nice and fascinating town. Very pleasant. I hope to get there again in my future summers.

We were greeted promptly as we arrived from the airport and taken to our clean & spacious villa. The property is located on a peninsula north east of Chania; it is very quiet, peaceful and you have a view of both the sunset and sunrise. The traditional Greek/Crete food served at the Blue Beach restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. We hit up the Saturday morning Farmers' Market and bought a bunch of fresh produce to prepare in our kitchenette throughout the week. Staff are sweet and helpful. They helped us acquire a rental car, a scuba diving excursion (highly recommended!), and were very helpful with directions to other desired destinations around the island. Everyone on the island was friendly and helpful. We're already looking into to booking 2 weeks for next summer!
