Mina Apartment is a ground floor 1-bedroom apartment with a sharing courtyard in the beautiful village of Kalyves, only 200 meters from the sandy beach. All everyday amenities, supermarkets, mini markets, taverns, a bakery, a butchery shop and bars are available within a few minutes walking distance. The lovely city of Chania is found at 18 km west.

A few steps lead to the elevated ground floor level of the apartment, where guests can find an open plan living room area with a corner sofa bed, a TV and dining table. A fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator and coffee maker is offered.

One bedroom with a double bed and a shower bathroom are provided. Free wireless internet, air conditioning, hair dryer and a common washing machine in a sharing storage room are available. There is also direct access to a common courtyard with outdoor shaded dining area with pergola, barbecue facilities and sun loungers.

Kalyves is a seaside village with a long sandy beach, many waterfront taverns, restaurants, supermarkets, groceries with fresh fruit and vegetables, bakeries, wine stores, ATM and pharmacy shop.

"Me and my partner had a lovely stay. The apartment had everything we needed, especially the kitchen. The lounge is comfortable and we really enjoyed having breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. Emmanuel and Yannis were super helpful with recommendations and organising a taxi to collect us from the airport. The location of the apartment is perfect - shops and supermarkets nearby. The beach is a couple of minutes away and it's lovely. Wish we could come back!"

"What a beautiful apartment and town. We didn't meet the hosts but communication was excellent. Location is perfect. Right in the heart of town but not loud. The apartment is nice and perfect with two full sized rooms, plenty of space, a kitchen and bathroom. We will return."

I spent 28 days here at the Mina apartment. I really enjoyed my time. Kalyves is a quaint little sea town with all the shops one would need. I enjoyed taking the buses around Crete and having a home base to return to. I felt the accommodation was lovely. The WiFi is strong which was great. I did plenty of cooking and managed just fine with what was there. The shower was pleasant as well. I think if you looking for a nice private apartment in a quiet area, right next to the beach then this is it. Plus the hosts are very responsive and welcoming.

Πολύ ωραία περιοχή και πολύ καλό κατάλυμα, ευρύχωρο και άνετο καθώς και κοντά στη θάλασσα. Θα το προτιμήσω σίγουρα ξανά.
