Very happy with all service we received - both booking with "thehotel" and the manager at Platanias Villas. We are surely coming back - and surely booking through Thehotel.gr! Very impressed with quick and friendly response to all my questions and wishes.

Location: secluded yet within walking distance to the sandy beach, supermarket, stores, restaurants
Pool: very unique and enjoyable
Food/Drink: Since we arrived late to the villas, the sandwiches, fruits, and salad that were provided for us was wonderful
Barbecue: very useful Lighting: it seemed a bit dark in the rooms, especially in the family room/dining room area
Ants: towards the end of our stay there were a few ants in the kitchen area
Missing: I suggest to perhaps add a few napkins or paper towels in the kitchen We loved our stay at the Platanias Villas!
Since we were two families it was important for us to be 'close' - the two villas were located close and easily accessible for each family to go back and forth.
I would like to thank the Maintenance Manager. She assisted every time I called. Her knowledge of the area helped us to visit beautiful places. Most of all it was such a pleasure speaking with her!

Excellent service - If you need anything you just have to ask, nice house, clean, cold pool, slow internet, ideal for a quiet holiday in the center of Platanias, Elafonisi 1 hour away by car. Great satisfaction! thanks

Beautiful villa - comfortable, clean. Ideal for two families. Excellent service. Good location. What you see on the internet is what you actually get - which is very good! One small thing - plates are too big for dishwasher. Add a few thinks to Kitchen - towels, a couple of plastic boxes, better knives.

so we drove off herakilion to platanias it took us as long as 2 hours but when we got there we been welcome by stuff which was helpfull kids run right away to the pool and here we start our vec to crete.
the compound of villas were so quiet and green serounding so peaceful from the busy rode 500m away we love the walk to the near beach we love to have our shopping every day morning the villa is well kept clean and accomodet with all family need for saty we cold chose saty all week in villa or travle around wonderfull still to come the free WIFI which help me keep an eye on my work beck home
i don t understad those family with 4 kids that gose to hotel rether saty in villa
any how we think positively to come again

The house was in a secluded Area, with lots of privacy, and short walks t the beach & main street Could be fitted out with a washing machine, and a "starter-kit" for soaps, washing fluid, etc in the Kitchen

We had the Villa Ifaistos and it was really nice. The rooms are spacious with individual aircondition units en every room.
The kitchen is fairly ok but a few large frying pans, a few sharp knives and a deep fryer would be nice.
The pool worked surprisingly well considering it`s rather small size. The poolwater was tested on a regular basis and cleaned several times pr week.
There were a few small gripes!
Two of the toilets didn`t flush properly. I`m surprised maintenance things like that aren`t picked up on ASAP:
The WiFi was very unreliable. Hard to connect to at times and incredibly slow at times. It seemed like the mornings worked ok but afternoon/evenings was a joke.
All in all we had a great time there and would not hesitate to come back to Platanias Villas!

Περάσαμε πάρα πολύ ωραία. Απολαύσαμε την άνεση των χώρων, την πισίνα, την ησυχία-ηρεμία, αν και ήμασταν κοντά στον κύριο δρόμο.

Since we stayed in the villa and did not actually made so much food inside it, i cant tell much about dining in the villa, but dining in Creete is always very good! And our stay is the best I have ever experienced after visited Creete over 30 times in life, THIS IS NO 1 . Thank you for everything!!

"Emamanuel and Yanni are excellent at communicating and the location was fantastic. It felt as though we were miles from town but it was only a few minutes walk to the beach, bars, shopping and restaurants. Everything we needed was close by. We did have to buy a few items for the place like coffee sugar soap and sponges. But they immediately repaid me for them. They are definitely top notch and we really enjoyed our time and the restaurant suggestions they gave us."
