One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Crete - looks wonderful and stylish.
The staff is very polite and service minded.
The rooms are great with plenty of space - we even had our own swimming pool.
The staff at the reception were really helpful and nice to us.
Cleaning of the room was perfect.
The service in the small mini market was also great and they had all the small stuff that you are going to need.
The pools were large and clean.
The staff at the main restaurant are SO hard working ans still able to handle guest in a VERY nice manner. They were fast and polite and service minded.
At many other All Inclusive hotels there is one or two better restaurants where you can eat one night to get some variation. This is not the case at Porto Platanias.
There was no introduction to the children play club.
The selections of food/snack in between Breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner is limited. Other places they have some selection of pizzas, spaghetti etc.
There are two bars - but at one of the large swimming pools the bar is closed during day time - so you have to walk to the other bar - it is okay but would be nice if you did not have to walk around to get a soda :-)
We can highly recommend Porto Platanias Beach Resort.
