Our favorite was Topos & Elias, excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. The villa is a great location for exploring western Crete, including getting to Elafonisi and Falasarna beaches. Palaiochora is a really nice little town with shops, tavernas and beach. Chania not too far away and is really worth the visit. Our communication with the villa team was very easy and helpful."

Exceptional villa in the mountains for a week-long stay in Crete. We were a family of five (two couples and one child) and had plenty of space. The villa was well-appointed, and the nearby town of Topolia, though small, had essentials—an excellent taverna and spots for morning coffee. The local mini-mart is minimal, so stock up on groceries in Kissamos or another nearby town. The host was very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed the company of a friendly neighborhood cat we named Stripey! Two bedrooms have blackout wooden panels on the windows (one with a double bed, one with three single beds), while the other two have lighter curtains that let in morning light. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in the showers. The bathrooms are different from what we're used to, so floors did get wet, but it wasn't a big deal. Beautiful views every morning, and while the pool was nice, it was a bit too cold for swimming in late October/early November. Overall, a great place—highly recommend!

Hello, we had a great time in the Topolia villa. Large rooms, bathrooms that worked and were well stocked with towels and a washing machine. Very well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge, normal oven and microwave, toaster, etc. Terrace with lots of sunbeds, partly covered by a gazebo, and a spectacular view of the gorges and all the way to the sea. We also appreciated the swimming pool, which was also equipped with sunbeds and a shower. The assistance from the agency was also excellent, although we did not use it except during the 2 arrival and departure phases. Thank you

We loved the house, amazing view, had everything we needed. Short walk to bakery and tavernas. Do a food shop on the way if you want to cook yourself. Shared pool has good view. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and would recommend.

We had a great time in Topolia! The property has fantastic views from the large veranda. The house is spacious and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The swimming pool was fine but made little use of it as we were out most of the time. Topolia proved to be a great base for visiting the beaches west of Crete, including AMAZING Elafonissi and STUNNING Balos beach (highly recommend hiring a boat from Kissamos). Also, worth visiting the Agia Sophia cave (be ready for the 250+ steps up to the cave) and the olive wood Art shop. The tavernas are great. The bakery was fab—went there for our breakfast every day). Finally, thank you to our host for being so proactive and attentive to our needs and questions.

Absolutely adored staying here with my family (3yo, 6mo). The villa has everything you could need and the pool and local tavernas and bakery are awesome. Would be back in a heartbeat and want to bring the grandparents next time! Wanted to particularly mention the responsiveness of the hosts via message. By far the most responsive and helpful hosts I’ve ever engaged with. We had answers to our questions in seconds (literally). Thank you for a wonderful week. (One thing to note for future guests - if you need groceries get them from Kissamos on the way through as there is nowhere in Topolia!)

Cosy typical apartment. We loved our stay at Emmanuel and Yannis place. The apartment has a beautiful view overlooking the valley and a nice terrace. the apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable. it is well located in the town, just 1 min away by walk from some nice restaurants.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour en Crête. Le logement est agréable, bien situé pour visiter tout l'Ouest de la Crête ( prévoir tout de même une moyenne de 45 min en voiture pour rejoindre les endroits les plus connus aux alentours). Les hôtes sont réactifs, la piscine un vrai plaisir après une journée de vadrouille. Les enfants ont adoré ! Les parents aussi. Merci pour tout

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison. La vue est exceptionnelle depuis la terrasse. La piscine est partagée mais ce n’est vraiment pas un problème car globalement nous n’avons vu personne, donc nous avions l’impression d’avoir la piscine rien que pour nous. Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillit avec une énorme pastèque dans le frigo et des glaces (bien appréciable vu la chaleur quand on est arrivés). L'accueil était chaleureux et amical, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La maison est très grande et le fait que chaque chambre est sa salle de bain est très pratique. La literie est très confortable en ce qui concerne les chambres doubles, un peu dur pour la chambre avec les lits superposés. Les tavernes a Topolia sont très bonne et très proche de la maison, vous pouvez y aller à pied. Juste faire attention au parking ; il ne faut pas une grosse voiture, pas par manque de place mais plutôt car la rue pour le parking est très étroite. Merci pour l’accueil 😊

Sehr schöne, urige und gemütliche Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns die geräumige Terrasse mit der wahnsinnig schönen Aussicht. Hier kann man richtig zur Ruhe kommen:) Sehr freundliche und gut erreichbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden immer mal wieder mit frischem Obst oder anderen Kleinigkeiten überrascht :)
