CASA : villa stupenda in una posizione ottimale - camere spaziose - piscina godibilissima - giardino ben curato - pulizia perfetta
STAFF : ottima assistenza - personale (Mary soprattutto) disponibilissimo, competente e paziente - reperibilità 24 ore al giorno NESSUNO !!! E' stata un'esperienza positiva in tutti i sensi ! DA RIPETERE !!!

Villa Aretousa 2 is excellent place to spend holiday. There are many rooms and the garden is beautiful. The swimming spool is lovely and kids love it. The place is peaceful and the view is very nice. The super market is far away. Thank You for Your kindness. Maybe we come back some day.

We booked the villa for 10 adults and 3 small children. A big thank you to Emmanuel who first of all helped us to find accommodation and second for recommending this villa. It's a great villa with super outdoor space and spectacular views over the olive groves and sea.
This us the best accommodation I've ever booked and hope to come back.
It's even better live than on photos! The only disadvantage are that you need a car as the villa is situated so high up there are many meters to climb by foot. A couple of Nights we walked down (10 min slow walk to the restaurants) and took a cab back (5 euro) as the road gets really dark at night. We also booked transfer from and to the airport with Emmanuel and everything worked perfect.
It was easy to get in touch with the staff and the villas Owner and they were all very helpful so I would give thehotel.gr a 10 and would recommend them for booking.

Very nice house with a wonderful view overlooking the sea. Good rooms and bathrooms in the house and the garden with the pool was just great for grown ups and children. We were in need of thermos flasks for coffee and tea, and a water boiler would have come in handy. We have spent a marvelous week in Villa Aretousa 2.
We were 8 grown ups and 4 children so we were probably more people than suitable for the house, but we were alright thanks to the fact that the owner kindly helped us with extra beds.

Very nice place with wonderful views. Great pool, spacious villa, nice garden with beautiful flowers. Friendly people. The dogs in the neighborhood are sometimes a bit annoying. It's quit a long distance to the beachfront. You will need a car. We had a great week with us and another family. In total 4 adults and 4 children. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Agia Marina is ok and you can find some nice restaurants at the beachfront, although I don't understand how they keep their products fresh when their turn-over in the low season drops and there are so many restaurants. The beach is clean and the water is shallow for a long distance, what makes it ideal for children. The views outside the apartment are stunning. Very nice sunrise and sea views. The house is absolutely clean and fresh.

The Villa Aretousa 2 exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful house with amazing views with more than enough space for our group of 8.
The house itself is relatively new and we liked the fact that there were 2 living spaces with separate entrances. Everything worked properly and the owner keeps the house very clean.
The best part of the villa for us was the location, high up on the hill with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and Chania in the distance. We also liked the fact it was away from the Agia Marina "strip" which is full of traffic, people and noise. But it is not too far, and it is convenient to get groceries or go play mini golf.
We had a car during our time there which I would definitely recommend. It allowed us to make a quick run to the store or go have a walk along the main road without worrying about walking back in the dark. Plus it gives you the flexibility of exploring your surroundings much easier.
We really enjoyed the big swimming pool which is located in a part of the yard where you can swim and still have the amazing view of the sea. It was great to come back from town or the beach and swim in the late afternoon / early evening.
The owner, Mrs. Grigoria, was very helpful and came by the villa a couple times to make sure everything was OK.
The only possible negative associated with this villa is the fact it is in a rural setting, with dogs barking and roosters crowing at 4AM. But this didn't bother us at all, it added to the villa's charm.
All in all we loved staying at the Villa Aretousa 2 and we hope to return in the future.

We had a great holiday in Villa Aretousa 2! The house and the garden was wonderful! We were 8 adults and 4 children and we all want to come back soon. The owners were wery kind and service minded and offered us all the help and information we could want.
The house had all the equipment we needed and with our own swimming pool and even the weather on our side we all agreed - this was our best holidays ever!
It was a nice 20 min. walk down to the beach and plenty of good restaurants in the city - and if we found the hillside hard to walk "home" we could always take a cab for 5-6 euro.

This villa is perfect! As a matter of fact it is much greater than on the pictures and what we were expecting! So clean, plenty of place for our 9 persons, great outdoor areas with beautiful roses, excellent location on a hill (so peaceful!) with such an amazing view! Also the owner, Mrs Grigoria, was so nice and friendly. We definitely recommend this villa to everyone and we might also rent it again next year... :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa Aretousa 2. Our ferry was late arriving in Crete, and we had some complications with our rental vehicle, so it was quite late when we got to the villa, but we called and John came right over to let us in and show us around. After that initial night, we called a couple other times and all our requests were responded to immediately. The Villa itself is quite astonishing, surrounded by the quietness of the olive groves with a magnificent view out, but yet close enough to walk into Agia Marina if desired. I would recommend having a vehicle though, as the hill gets a little wearing on the walk back up. Overall, a great stay and a great villa!
