We had an amazing stay at Villa Athina, such a wonderful place. The views are stunning from sunrise to sunset and it’s so beautifully peaceful. There’s lots of seating areas, for sun and shade, and evening dinners on the terrace was a real highlight. The hatch from the kitchen window is such a bonus, we had fun passing food out for the table and shouting ‘service’ 🛎️ Yannis and Emmanuel are wonderful hosts right from the time we booked, very attentive, providing lots of useful information and helping with our late evening arrival transfer from Heraklion. In addition, the maintenance managers were super helpful and friendly, on hand during our stay, ensuring we had everything needed. We walked down to a fabulous local taverna called Leventis, food was delicious, but generally a car is needed to get about to amazing beaches, the old town is very pretty and we hired a boat for 5 hours, €150, a great way to explore. One of the best family holidays ever, thank you.
