Voukolies is a small town about 36 km west of Chania, on the way from Chania to Kandanos/Paleochora, a little after the exit of Tavronitis.
One bakery shop, one patisserie, a few mini markets, a super market, a few banks, small taverns and grocery shops can be found here.
The shingle beach of Tavronitis is a 5-minute drive from Voukolies.
