If you’re looking for a quiet getaway on a beautiful island this is the right place! My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and could’ve used 5 more! Sfinari is a small and very friendly town, Villa Levande is up on the hill nestled between olive groves and was the perfect peaceful getaway! It’s also super conveniently located between some of Crete’s best beaches. I would highly recommend, awesome home and great location.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Levande! We were welcomed by a local delicacies and a pack with helpful details about what to do, where to eat etc. The villa is just breathtakingly beautiful, from the design, decoration and facilities to the view. The only thing you would need to take into consideration is that this is quite remote and there are no big super markets around. Do try the local tavernas by Sfinari beach!

The beautiful home Villa Levande was the best choice for our two weeks family vacation during August 2017.
The house is very modern with it's own personality, surrounded by olive trees looking straight at the sea and the amazing sunset.
Location is excellent. Famous beaches like Falasarna, Elafonisos, Balos are very close so you won't get in traffic especially if you are visiting high season. For lazy days Sfinari has a beach with wild beauty to swim but also fish taverns to lunch. Thank you for your fresh fruit, eggs, welcome traditional sweets, wine, recommendations and excellent behavior. Thehotel.gr is the best travel agency we've ever experienced and now Crete is our only choice for summer.

We (my wife and I) spent one week in the beautiful Villa Levande with another couple. We had a fantastic time:
We arrived late at night but had a very warm welcome with the owners. Thereafter we spent a great time in the region visiting different beaches, taverns and had much fun using the pool enjoying great sunsets.
The house is nicely arranged with lots attention to detail. Everything you need is available, so we did not miss anything. The two bedrooms are spacious and the air condition works perfectly.
We all can recommend coming to that nice place!

Enjoyed Our stay in this beautifull setting. New house with stunning view over the Vally and the sea. Superb Sunset and incredible to hear the sheep going down the mountain in the evening. The house is lovely decorated , really very tastefull with eye for detail. Airco functioned very well in all rooms. Driving to Sfinari is special, a lot of curly smaller roads, but finally arrived you can benefit of quitness, not crowdy, nice place to relax. The beach is rocky and has more waves then the other Beaches we visited in Crete. If you like to relax, Enjoy A splendid view and appreciate nice accomodation, villa Levante is the right place to stay.

sloping land We were charmed by this unique DESIGN villa which is very RARE in Crete. It is a newly built villa, perfectly decorated and equipped offering large rooms.
We enjoyed the daily wonderful sunset from the amazing overflowing swimming pool.
The view is splendid, facing a wild landscape with thousands of olive trees, a wonderful sea view and a flock of goat and sheep passing every day. It is very quiet, no neighbour.
The location is perfect, not too far from Kissamos and Chania with an easy road trip.
The hostess offered us a very warm welcome : she prepared some Cretan cheese pies for our arrival, some famous home made cookies and gave us many products from her garden including her home made olive oil. She provided us very best advice to enjoy our stay and she even proposed to stay one night at her home in order to do Samaria gorge. Unfortunately due to the 10Y record high heatwave, the gorge was closed but we did a very nice one, less known and crowdy, recommended by her (Agia Irini gorge).
TheHotel.gr was very reactive during our booking and regularly in touch with us during our stay to make sure everything was fine and to provide us with additional information (Thanks to Maria).
I recommend also a cooking lesson at Kissamos at Eleni's farm.
We assign a 10/10 mark for this villa which is very unusual for us.
Villa Levande definitively is a great success.
We recommend to plant some aromatic herbs (mint, parsley...) in the garden to enjoy fresh herbs for cooking delicious Cretan dishes.
We are excited to come back another year and we highly recommend this villa (but please leave us some weeks available!).

Wir waren die ersten Gäste (Familie mit zwei Töchtern 14 und 17) in dieser neuen traumhaft gelegenen Villa oberhalb des Meeres. Sie liegt ruhig in Alleinlage uneinsehbar inmitten eines Olivenhaines, von den Terrassen und Pool ist der Blick frei auf das Meer über die Bucht von Sfinari und in die Landschaft. Die Sonnenuntegänge sind grandios. Die Außenanlagen sind landschaftstypisch sehr schön angelegt. Innen ist es bis in jedes Detail sehr geschmackvoll und umfangreich perfekt eingerichtet.
Der Fußweg zum Ort für kleinere Einkäufe dauert 5 Minuten, mit dem Auto zum Kies-Strand ohne Touristenschwämme mit sehr empfehlenswerten Tavernen benötigt man 5 Fahrminuten.
Die Eigentümer empfingen uns super freundlich mit überwältigender Gastfreundschaft. Ein hervorragender Ort zum Entspannen und als zentraler Standpunkt für Ausflüge in den Westen Kretas. Gerne wieder
