The 4-bedroom Villa Talos complex is located near Spaniakos, a small village in southern Crete, far from overcrowded areas but only 5 kilometers away from the picturesque town of Palaiochora. Villa Talos consists of three stone buildings, one of which is an old oil press from the 19th century. It is situated in the middle of a 20 hectare plot, which offers a private swimming pool.
The first building of 160 sq. ft. has the communal spaces of the complex. It consists of two living rooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining room, while in the front of the guests can find a quaint yard with local trees.
The second building consists of two separate bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double-sized bed, while the other one has two single beds.
The third building consists of two separate maisonettes. The first maisonette has a double-sized bed and a bathroom on the bottom floor and two single beds on the top floor. The second maisonette has two beds and a bathroom on the bottom floor, and a double bed on the upper floor. There is also a kitchen with an independent entrance.
All guests can come to the Villa from a rural road of 800 meters length, which ensures the privacy of the premises. As you drive uphill on the side of the mountain towards the villa, an abundance of olive trees, carob trees and shrubby, aromatic plants welcome you to the wild, natural landscape of Southern Crete, with the Libyan Sea as a background. A car rental of SUV type is recommended for your stay in this Villa due to the landscape of Palaiochora, the last part of the road to the Villa and some rare beaches with a little difficult access.
The village of Spaniakos is a quiet area, with olive groves, natural springs, 9 graphic small churches, one fortress and many traditional trails for walking and hiking, while also being near the beautiful beaches of Palaiochora, Elafonisi, Sougia and the gorge of Agia Eirini.
