Maison très agréable avec vue magnifique sur les champs d’oliviers et la mer.
Piscine exceptionnelle avec de nombreuses terrasses très bien étudiées.
Accueil et hospitalité excellents avec pleins de petites attentions qui font la différence.
Merci le propriétaire qui est très réactif et très sympathique.
Excellente semaine.

Location parfaite et de charme pour un séjour au calme au milieu des Oliviers. Piscine géniale avec vue à perte de vue sur la nature et au loin la Mer de Crête. Très bien placée pour faire les magnifiques plages de l’ouest Elafonissi, Balos, Phalassarna et pour la presqu’île d’Akrotiri et La Canée. Nous sommes même allés dans le Sud à Paleochora! Maison grande et confortable. Nous étions 5 et les 3 enfants étaient très bien dans la chambre avec le 3è lit: plus grande que ce que nous imaginions sur les photos. Hôtes charmants : un bon rôti nous attendait à l’arrivée, ainsi que des fruits du jardin et de l’huile d’olives! Merci pour tout cela! Nous recommandons vivement !!

We loved every second of our 12 day stay at Casa Rustica! The location in the foothills above Maleme was perfect for us. It was very peaceful and quiet, but only 10 minutes from all the services you might require - supermarket, bakery, beach, restaurants etc..even the doctor and pharmacy! The villa is just as the photos show - super-clean and well-maintained, and just right for a family of 4. The pool with the view down through the vineyards and olive groves to the coast is stunning. We had a great host and very responsive to questions and requests. I would highly recommend this villa.

Casa Rustica ist eine sehr schöne und sehr komfortabel ausgestattete Villa. Sie ist absolut ruhig und romantisch gelegen und der Ausblick vom Hügel ist atemberaubend. Die Eigentümerfamilie ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht um ihre Gäste. Meine Frau und ich verbrachten zwei herrlich entspannte Wochen in der Casa Rustica und können das Haus auch für Familien sehr empfehlen. Gerne kommen wir wieder. TheHotel.gr arbeitet sehr professionell und verlässlich und bemüht sich sehr um ihre Gäste.

Far away from everything

Free use of the garden fruits (grapes mostly)

We had a lovely stay at the villa. It was just as advertised, and the photos show the reality : what you see is what you get.
Add to that an owner who will do everything to make your stay more pleasant and you'll have some of the best holidays possible ! Pool was not heated when we were there - it was a bit chilly at times but we're being difficult ! (water temp. was 23°C when we arrived, 27° when we left)
Since the garden is very well planted with trees and flowers, there are lots of wasps - but they are NOT aggressive : just leave them alone and they'll do no harm
It is very far away from everything : the closest bakery is 15min drive and the road is steep ! A car is mandatory. Everything was perfect. From planning to execution, everything worked beautifully : we had planned a taxi pickup at airport, it was on time and waiting for us. Planned a rental car delivery at the villa : arrived 15min after us. Same goes for the return, all smooth.
The team called us 3-4 times to make sure we were doing OK and also left us a nice welcome package, which was a nice touch!

All in all, we recommend TheHotel.gr. They are trustworthy and work with excellent partners.

Every year we are looking for summer holiday which we can spend far from the crowd, where our family feels that the whole world is ours. We fall in love with Casa Rustica at first sight. Booking, paying was easy. To find the place from Heraklion was long but easy: just used Wase and the way is straight. To see Casa Rustica with the pool and it's surroundings: endless olive tree farms, beautiful mountains and the surprisingly blue see is breathtaking, much nicer than on the photos. The hospitality of the owner and his son is touching. Apart from towels a lot of food was provided us in the fridge along with their own olive oil and local wine. We had enough space for us and our three kids. When we made a day trip to Samaria gorge as a kind consideration the owner prepared us a fantastic dinner and gave us 1 l own made olive oil to take home.
We had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday in Casa Rustica. Before and during our stay TheHotel.gr's staff was very helpful and friendly, gave us useful and detailed explanations. The booklet provided by then was interesting and useful. The way of payment was organised according our personal preference. The gift from TheHotel.gr was unexpectedly kind.

We had a part of of our honeymoon in Casa Rustica. For sure - The best place we have ever stayed!!! Complete silence and privacy during all the days we were there. Everything was exactly as described and in live the place looked as astonishing as in pictures. Pool is just gorgeous and you can get the "infinity pool" feeling as villa is located on the top of the mountain. We used the open air kitchen to grill and cook. The nearest shops are 5-10 min. driving. The beach is also not far, but we never did went to beach as it was not necessary at all if you stay in villa. We did not want to leave the villa at all!! And the host is superb! None, for travelers who want peace, astonishing views, privacy and relax.
If you would be searching for loud nightlife with clubs and tons of restaurants nearby, then this might not be the best place for you. To be fair I was doubtful to trust or not TheHotel.gr before booking, because it is not as famous as other service providers and you can not get a lot of feedback's on the web, but everything was organised perfectly. The directions, the google map details, advice's, etc, etc. They made us feel welcomed and that they really care about our well being!

The house was of a very high standard and the view was exceptional. If you quality and don't want to be on a strip with thousands of other tourists well then this the place for you. It is very remote. Our Host was very nice and very helpful - typical cretan hospitality

Wonderful private pool and location. Outdoor wood oven and Bbq. Shower upstairs very small. But min or compared to location. Booking all went smoothly. The owners are wonderful and cannot do enough. Lovely, private location.
